Project Dairy Vet Horizons
Project Dairy Vet Horizons is a joint NZVA and DCV project that aims to develop an online hub for continuing professional development (CPD) for dairy veterinarians and technicians. As the dairy industry evolves, veterinarians will need different skills to embrace the new opportunities the industry provides. Our online hub will provide a central resource centre with links to the latest CPD programmes, research and innovations. This will provide dairy vets and technicians with essential skills, knowledge and support at every stage of their careers.
Work to date has included stakeholder surveys, interviews and working groups to ensure the platform meets industry demands. We are also seeking feedback from dairy vets and technicians to help us understand your preferences and challenges when it comes to CPD. Your insights are crucial as we shape the future of dairy veterinary practice in Aotearoa.
