The NZVA is here to support you at every stage of your veterinary career – from your student days to retirement. We welcome applications from:

  • veterinarians registered with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand (VCNZ)
  • retired veterinarians
  • students attending Massey University’s School of Veterinary Science
  • non-veterinarians working in the veterinary industry

  4. Sit back and wait for our membership team to contact you!

Already a member?

If you pay for your own membership, we'll send you a membership renewal invoice in November. Your membership will auto-renew on 1 January, provided we’ve received payment.

If your employer pays for your membership, we’ll contact them with membership renewal instructions.

If you're a student, retired, or life member, your membership will auto-renew on 1 January.
