Associate membership
Associate membership for non-veterinarians 
 Our associate membership package is for people who work in the veterinary industry but are not qualified veterinarians. This includes practice managers, large animal veterinary technicians, CEOs, general managers, HR professionals, and non-veterinarian industry partners.
Livestock Parasite Project
The Livestock Parasite Project is being conducted by Disease Research Limited (DRL). The project is attempting to use qPCR techniques from various New Zealand livestock faecal samples to identify the overall and individual parasites burdening the animals.

          4th June, 2019   The New Zealand Veterinary Association has issued advice to prospective dog owners in light of recent news media coverage highlighting animal health and welfare concerns regarding puppy farming. This practice involves large numbers of puppies being bred in sub-standard facilities.
