FormatThis course is taught via distance learning (you may know it as continuing education, distance education or continuing professional development) by recognised international experts in their field. Presentations and data from actual patients alongside assigned readings are used to generate subject material and medical questions for analysis.

Led by Sarah Haldane, this course will provide a thorough yet practical study of Canine and Feline Emergency Medicine offered in Massey University's Master of Veterinary Medicine Programme (MVM). The course is supported by the latest research, reviews and case material to challenge veterinarians with in-depth, relevant continuing education.

Yolanda van Heezik is an urban ecologist interested in how companion cats impact wildlife populations, and will tell us about the most current research in this area.

Thus there are multiple concurrent themes including state-of-the-art lectures and supporting in depth reviews, supporting original studies allied to the same themes, free communications and two extensive programmes of continuing education suitable for general practitioners (comprehensive level) as well as for those with a special interest in dermatology (advanced level).
