We are looking for an experienced veterinarian, ideally with a farm or small animal bias to job share with one of our veterinarians. This could be an ideal position for someone that wants to progress their career into either management, practice ownership or perhaps research.

We also have another opportunity for a mixed vet to join the team as one of our vets heads off travelling. This role would suit someone with a companion animal bias that enjoys a smaller clinic. We are a proud independently owned mixed practice situated in Te Awamutu, Waikato.

We have an experienced and highly qualified nursing and technician team that support our veterinarians. Our positive team attitude delivers high quality patient care, rating us very highly amongst the local community as the preferred veterinary clinic.

Our clinic is modern and well equipped with excellent surgical facilities and audited to NZVA BESTPRACTICE Standards. 

About the role:

• Are you committed to providing a high standard of care in a collaborative environment? Do you want opportunities for growth and learning? Do you enjoy working up your cases?
• There is no small animal emergency after-hours component to this role
• Rostered 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am-12pm)
• Farm animal after hour duties is negotiable
• Clinic opening hours are: 8.30am-5pm weekdays and Saturday mornings 9-12pm
