Aldwins Road Vet Clinic in Christchurch has an awesome opportunity for a companion animal veterinarian to join our close-knit, experienced team.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time role with flexible roster options - 30 - 40 hours across 4 or 5 days
  • Shared Saturday mornings, no Sundays or public holidays, and limited backup afterhours only
  • Excellent pay + benefits like fitness passport, enhanced paid parental leave, and generous staff discounts

You'll be working in a well-equipped clinic, alongside a team with special interests ranging from exotics to emergency and internal medicine.
  • The role offers a great mix of consults (20 minutes), surgery and dentistry - with plenty of scope and support for you to explore areas of special interest.
  • We have flexible options available for a full-time role across 4-5 days per week
  • Check us out here to meet the team and see the clinic!

Why Christchurch?

Whether you're into skiing, surfing, hiking, or sipping coffee at a local cafe - Christchurch offers the perfect balance of city life and outdoor adventure. Affordable living, great schools, and a thriving arts and food scene make it a top spot for settling down or shaking things up.

Sound like your kind of role?

You'll need to be eligible to practice in New Zealand (BVSc or equivalent), and bring a solid GP skillset - consults, routine surgery, dentistry including extractions.
