Taupō Veterinary Centre is seeking a confident and adaptable large animal or mixed animal veterinarian (with a large animal bias) to join our friendly team from 25 January 2026. We’re open to either a fixed-term or permanent position, depending on what suits you best.

Why this role?

• Large animal focus: You’ll be working primarily with dairy cattle. Equine work is minimal and optional—we’ll tailor the role to your strengths.
• Flexible hours: Choose between 3–5 days/week.  A permanent role may include occasional days in Whakamaru once our team member returns from parental leave.
• Supportive team: You’ll be part of a collaborative, experienced crew and included in the afterhours roster, which comes with a paid half-day off each 5-day week for full-time employees.
