3 Stone Vets is seeking an experienced (10+ years qualified) small animal/mixed animal veterinarian to join our growing team in Te Awamutu. This would be full-time role (32 hours/week) providing veterinary services for both companion animals and dairy cows. We are open to someone with a species preference. 

We're looking for someone that enjoys working and living in a welcoming rural community and being part of a small but mighty team. Enjoy a dynamic, cooperative, and appreciative client base in a non-corporate clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Providing veterinary care to a wide range of animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment of medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform surgical procedures
• Advise clients on preventive care, nutrition, and general animal health and welfare.
• Collaborate with the veterinary nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care 

We offer an attractive employment package and generous CPD allowance. There is no small animal afterhours as the clinic uses an OOH provider. Rostered 1 in 3 Saturday consults (9am-12pm).
