Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd is seeking an experienced companion animal veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This could be either a full-time or part-time role providing veterinary services for companion animals.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care, routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment of medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform surgical procedures, both complex and routine.
• Advise clients on preventive care, nutrition, and general animal health and welfare.
• Collaborate with the veterinary nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Participate in our 1 in 3 weekend roster.

What we're looking for:

• At least 1 year of experience in a mixed or companion animal veterinary practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and the veterinary team.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care.
• Ability to work efficiently, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
