At OurVets, you'll be part of a close-knit team. Your role will encompass a balanced mix of consults and surgery, working along-side our experienced veterinarians and nurses. Our clinic is well-equipped to support areas of special interest, and you'll enjoy a varied caseload. 

This role would be well suited to a confident small animal veterinarian with a passion for surgery - with opportunity to be on surgery up to 2-3 days per week on average.

There are no regular after-hours or on-call duties, with a backup roster covering approximately 3-4 times per year. Only 1:5 Saturdays and no public holiday shifts.

  • Dynamic Clinic: Multi veterinarian team with a strong veterinarian:nurse ratio - great collaboration with our sister clinics OurVets Parklands and Halswell.

Looking for you:

  • BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered, or eligible to practice in New Zealand.
  • 5+ years of experience, comfortable with routine surgery and consultations
