Are you an experienced small animal veterinarian looking for a part-time opportunity? This could be the role for you!

Pet Doctors Thorndon are seeking a fixed term veterinarian to cover a period of parental leave - approx 12 months from August 2025. 

The role is 23 hours per week - Tuesday and Wednesday plus shared weekend roster.

• Pet Doctors Thorndon offers full medical & surgical facilities, an experienced team, radiology (including dental) and Ultrasound on-site, consultation and emergency services.
• We are equipped with three consult rooms, dedicated radiology and surgery rooms, inhouse biochemistry, haematology and Imagyst cytology.

About you: 

We are looking for a motivated, friendly BVSc or equivalent small animal veterinarian who will fit right in with our wonderful team. Confident to be sole charge, and happy with routine consults & surgery.

You will need to hold New Zealand work rights as sponsorship is not available for this position.
