Are you a passionate and dedicated small animal veterinarian with 3+ years of experience, looking for your next career move? Join our expanding and supportive team at our state-of-the-art Napier clinic. We're looking for a skilled professional to help us continue providing exceptional care to the animals in our community.

About the role:

As a key member of our team, you’ll work alongside a group of four experienced and two recent graduate veterinarians, ten skilled veterinary nurses, and five support staff, all working collaboratively to provide high-quality veterinary care. Your role will involve all aspects of companion animal medicine and surgery.

We also offer the opportunity to pursue areas of special interest, with team members currently working in areas such as small pets and birds, orthopaedic surgery, acupuncture and rehabilitation therapies, and ultrasonography.

• No afterhours duty: Family-friendly clinic with a shared weekend roster (approximately 1:6 weekends, 9AM - 1PM) and no afterhours duties, allowing you to enjoy your personal time.

• Overnight transfers: We offer the option for overnight case transfers to the Hawkes Bay Urgent Care and After Hours Veterinary Clinic, providing the highest standard of care for animals that require overnight monitoring. This ensures our veterinarians have full support from those who choose to work in the afterhours clinic.
