About the job:

We are seeking an experienced companion animal veterinarian locum to join our fun, friendly, close-knit team at our BESTPRACTICE and Cat Friendly (Silver) certified Timaru clinic.

We are a team who fosters positive relationships through communication and awareness and we're proud to deliver progressive evidence based veterinary medicine. We focus on preventative animal health to improve the lives of people and their animals.

About you:

Our perfect candidate would:

• be able to hit the ground running and quickly fit into our team
• be a self-started with a strong all-round clinical skillset
• bring at least 2-3 years' experience and be confident with routine surgery and consults
• have a confident, calm style who easily forms relationships with colleagues, clients and their pets
• display excellent communication skills
• hold a BVSc or equivalent and be registered or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand
