Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd is seeking an experienced mixed veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This is a full-time or part-time role providing veterinary services for both companion animals and large animals.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a wide range of animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment of medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform surgical procedures, both complex and routine.
• Advise clients on preventative care, nutrition, and general animal health and welfare.
• Collaborate with the veterinary nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties on a generous roster.

What we're looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a mixed animal veterinary practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and the veterinary team.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care.
• Ability to work efficiently, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
