Our experienced and passionate team at Bayfair & Papamoa Vets have been providing quality care to animals in the Mount Maunganui and Papamoa region for almost 32 years. We're looking for a senior or lead small animal veterinarian to join our friendly and supportive team.

About the role:

  • You'll work collaboratively across our Bayfair & Papamoa clinics.
  • You'll have a great balance of consults and surgery.
  • We have well-equipped surgical suites with treatment/dental area, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound imaging, and in-house lab for blood work.
  • You'll join a team of five other experienced veterinarians with varied interests including orthopaedics supported by a great nursing team and practice manager.
  • Option to join the team as a senior veterinarian with 100% clinical focus or lead veterinarian with a blend of approx. 90% clinical work and 10% management/administrative responsibilities.

About you:

  • We are looking for an experienced and passionate small animal veterinarian with at least 10 years' experience, who enjoys building rapport with both clients and their team.
  • There is opportunity to take on the leadership role, or steo into the team as a senior veterinarian.
  • A passion for internal medicine would be advantageous.
  • BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand.
