We are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking companion animal veterinarian who will fit into our fun, friendly, close-knit team at our BESTPRACTICE Timaru clinic.

We have permanent and fixed term postions available and can offer plenty of flexibility for the right candidate. Do you want to work part weeks or half days? Is job share of interest? Don't hesitate to get in contact for a chat.

Remuneration is competitive and negotiable, based upon experience, skill set, and ability.

The role will include contribution to the afterhours schedule (shared with another practice) on a rostered basis.

We have a significant farm animal and companion animal client base and as you would expect in modern veterinary clinics, we are fully equipped with all diagnostics, routine, and specialist surgical equipment. 

Many of our veterinarians have areas of special interest: small animal reproduction, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, sheep AI, acupuncture, cattle nutrition, and membership in dairy cattle medicine. We value continued learning and find it rewarding helping our clients.
