Braided River Vets is a forward thinking and technologically driven large animal veterinary practice.

We are a privately owned, single clinic practice, located in the rural Canterbury town of Darfield, just 30 minutes from Christchurch and well situated for taking advantage of all that canterbury has to offer.

Our clinic predominantly services local dairy farms and the bulk of the work reflects this. We also look after some large beef and sheep stations and their working dogs.

We have a great team of veterinarians and technicians. We highly value our team culture and place high importance on honesty, hard work and team spirit.

Our preferred candidate would have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a dairy or mixed-dairy veterinarian.

The position is for a full-time veterinarian to join our current team of 4 veterinarians.

Afterhours roster will be 1 in 5, increasing to 2 in 5 over spring.

You will be provided with a modern 4x4 Ute, cell phone, data enabled laptop and all the necessary gear for the job.

Salary negotiable.
