About us:

Taranaki Veterinary Centre is a cornerstone of the South Taranaki community. With clinics spanning Hawera, Manaia, Stratford, Patea, and Waverley, we're renowned for our commitment to providing top-tier veterinary care to pets and their owners across the region. Our team of over 90 dedicated professionals, including 27 veterinarians and 38 support staff, shares a common goal: ensuring the health and happiness of every furry friend that walks through our doors.

About your role:

As a Companion Animal Veterinarian, you'll find yourself at the forefront of veterinary medicine, tackling a diverse range of cases and challenges each day. Picture yourself in the exam room, putting anxious pet owners at ease with your calm demeanour and expert advice. Whether you're performing routine check-ups, diagnosing illnesses, or devising treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, you'll be making a tangible difference in the lives of animals and their families.

Beyond the clinic, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the community, participating in outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and fostering a deeper understanding of animal welfare.

About you:

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience and expertise. As a qualified veterinarian, you'll possess a deep understanding of clinical best practices and ethical standards, coupled with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare. Your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development will ensure that you stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine, delivering the highest standard of care to every patient that crosses your path.
