Pet Doctors Howick is a well-established companion animal clinic in East Auckland looking for a senior veterinarian to join our team.

A bit about us:

Our clinic is well-equipped to perform an extensive range of procedures and surgeries with modern anaesthetic machines, respiratory monitors, IDEXX machines, fluid pumps, digital x-ray suite, x-ray table, dental and radiograph, ultrasound machine, three generous sized consult rooms, spacious waiting with separate space for cats and dogs, prep room and sterile surgery.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced small animal veterinarian to join our team - ideally in a full-time position but open to discuss part-time options.

• BVSc qualification (or equivalent) and registered, or eligibility to register to practice in New Zealand is required.
• 6+ years experienced preferred.
• Comfortable with routine consults and surgeries - happy with some sole charge as required.
• A great team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.
