St Heliers Veterinary Hospital (previously known as Glendowie -St Heliers Veterinary Clinic) is the newest addition to the Vet Hospital Group following the retirement of the longstanding owner/veterinarian. The clinic is situated in St Heliers close to beaches and Auckland’s central city. 

This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a fabulous location within a well-established clinic whilst being well supported by the full Vet Hospital team, enjoying the camaraderie and professional growth opportunities we offer.  We are looking for a Companion Animal Veterinarian with some experience to join the St Heliers team. Flexibility is our strength with full or part-time work available. You tell us what sort of roster you are after and we will work with you to tailor something to suit your life!

The St Heliers clinic is well-equipped with digital x-rays, the latest units for in-house blood analyses and dental equipment (including dental x-ray). Our veterinary nursing staff is fully trained, motivated and proactive. As a group we are focused on providing a supportive work environment for ongoing learning with in-house continued education as well as a generous CPD allowance and leave and the option of entering our advanced practitioner pathway where further funding and time for study is provided.

Remuneration is based on experience but will be generous and competitive. Your employment package also includes Veterinary Council of New Zealand registration and New Zealand Veterinary Association membership. Help with relocation costs and emigration can be negotiated for those moving to New Zealand.
