We have a new NZVA Veterinary Manager (Large Animals)!
We are delighted to announce the Veterinary Manager (Large Animals) role has been successfully recruited, and Dr. Cristin Dwyer will be joining our team in early January.
Cristin Dwyer graduated with her BVSc from Massey University in 2008. She began her practicing career in mixed animal practice, then moved to a predominantly dairy practice in the Canterbury plains. In 2013, she took on the role of Practicing Veterinarian at Massey University in the Farm Services Department.
On top of her clinical duties, she has been developing her skills in adult education, both through formal academic study and through the practical application of innovative teaching designs within the Dairy Cattle BVSc curriculum. In addition, she has developed and grown the Lifestyle Medicine curriculum with the BVSc degree and provided Lifestyle Practice CPD opportunities through various VetScholar courses and client information evenings.
Cristin's move to the role of Large Animal Manager for the NZVA will allow her to continue to share her passion for supporting veterinarians and the profession of being a veterinarian.
