Tauranga Veterinary Services - Mixed or Companion Animal Veterinarian - Tauranga
Organisation/clinic: Tauranga Veterinary Services
Position type: Mixed or Companion Animal Veterinarian
Are you looking for great team culture, a supportive work environment, a balance of small and large animal medical cases and surgery that can be flexible around your areas of interest, in a beautiful part of the country?
Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd is the only NZVA BESTPractice Accredited Clinic in Tauranga. We service companion animal, large animal, lifestyle, and equine clients with five clinics in Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Tauranga, Te Puna, and Katikati. We are proud to be a local, family-owned business, with a team of highly skilled and engaged team members who strive for excellence in every aspect of our business.
Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty offer a great lifestyle choice for outdoor activities as well as all the amenities of a rapidly growing city and region.
Our clinics provide in-house point of diagnostics (CBC, Biochemistry and Imagyst), digital X-ray, ultrasonography, dental x-ray, all within purpose-built facilities. We offer a referral imaging service and accept a variety of medical and surgical referrals from other practices, such as Radioactive Iodine treatment.
We offer a mentoring programme, "buddied" with an experienced veterinarian, overseen by the practice manager and supported by our exceptional team. Our social club organises many events over the year, and we hold regular Wellness Workshops to support the mental wellbeing of our team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly professional veterinarian to join our practice. This position is full-time; however, the role could be more flexible and fulfilled alternatively with two part-time veterinarians.
The successful applicant will have:
- Excellent general small animal surgical and medical skills.
- Ideally two years clinical experience (all applicants considered).
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about the veterinary profession and growing the practice.
- General large animal medicine skills suitable for small farms and lifestyle animals.
