We are looking for a small animal veterinarian to join our team at Humanimals. This is a general practice veterinarian role in a well-established small animal clinic. Ideally suited to a veterinarian with a few years’ experience and an interest in surgery (experience in orthopaedics would be a bonus) but of course, we are open to chat to those with other special interests as well. Our clinic is well-equipped complete in-house laboratory (IDEXX), endoscopy, digital radiography, extensive and modern dental equipment and ultrasound. This is a full-time position with flexibility for a 4-day week and shared weekend + afterhours roster (with excellent additional afterhours remuneration).

What we’re looking for: 

• Experienced small animal veterinarian - at least 3 years of clinical experience, a BVSc or equivalent, Veterinary Council of New Zealand registered - comfortable with some sole charge 
• Strong communicator and team player
• Eager to contribute to our positive clinic culture.
• Dedicated to providing the best care for our animal patients.
