Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and compassionate mixed animal veterinarian to join our friendly team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. What we're looking for:

• At least one year of experience in a mixed or companion animal veterinary practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic abilities, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional approach
• A commitment to ongoing professional development

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care, including consultations, check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, and treatment for medical conditions and injuries
• Perform both small and large animal routine and complex surgical procedures
• Offer sound advice to clients on preventive health, nutrition, and animal welfare
• Work closely with our veterinary nursing team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
• Participate in our shared after-hours mixed roster
