Farm Veterinary Matamata (FVM) is on the hunt for a go-getter ready to excel in the next step of their career within the veterinary industry!

At FVM, we provide a diverse range of services to our clients, which allows ultimate job interest and the chance to practice and upskill in a range of areas. From mastitis, to reproduction, lameness, herd health and more, as a production animal veterinarian you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks these services entail.

This role is best suited to someone in their fourth - tenth year of practice that is looking to apply their existing knowledge in a practical sense.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of initiative, be solutions focused, provide an excellent level of service and advice to our clients, and have a long-term focus in the industry.

About FVM:

As a privately owned production animal practice situated in Matamata, FVM has been committed to our clients and providing positive long-term results in farm animal health planning since 1947.

We are proud to work with around 150 farms which are mainly dairy, but also dry stock, dairy goat, and dairy sheep. Majority of our clientele are within a 15 minutes' drive of the clinic.

Our strong team comprises of five dairy veterinarians, two technicians (with additional numbers over dry-off, teat seal season) and four support staff.
