Vets on Riverbank has a vacancy for an experienced ambulatory equine and lifestyle veterinarian where you would be based between Ōtaki and Wellington.
You can choose to be largely responsible for the Wellington end of the district with the caseload being approximately 90% equine and 10% lifestyle. This provides an opportunity to work independently, although with a friendly and experienced team of 3 equine/largies vets and 3 technicians only a phone call or quick drive away, you are not completely on your own. Building close relationships with your clients, most of whom are highly motivated pleasure horse owners, and self-directing how your day-to-day work would look are a plus. However, if you would prefer to work more closely with the amazing team out of Otaki, that can also be accommodated – just let us know your preference!
